Helen Keller was born on June 27,1880 in Tusumbia, Alabama. When she was 19 months she become deaf, blind and mute. She died on June 1,1968, she was 87 years old. When she was a child because of her disabilities she often became angry, lay on the floor and kicked.Some people did not think Helen Keller could learn anything .No one could teach her .In 1887 Helen Keller's new teacher, Anna Suilvan arrived from the blind school in Boston. She taught Helen Keller words by using her finger to spell the letters.In 1904,Helen Keller graduated from Radcliffe College. She was the first deaf and blind person who graduated from a university. She wrote 12 books and numbers of magazine articles.The most famous book is 《The Story Of My Life》. She could write in 5 languages .She traveled to many places and met many kinds of people in her late years.Now every years June first is the day to remember Helen Keller.
