Thus Kingdom Hearts was born. Kingdom Hearts has 7 titles. Including the original, Kingdom Hearts II, the prequel Birth by Sleep, Re coded, Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days and Dream Drop Distance.

The game is mainly a crossover of Disney and Kingdom Hearts characters. But a few other Final Fantasy and The World Ends with You characters also appear. For example, Cloud, Sephiroth, Squall Leonhart, Neku Sakuraba, Shiki Misaki. The storyline and the characters are what makes this game so interesting and popular. The merging of action RPG with Disney animation is unseen of, since Disney is not associated with violence. The ending of each game is heart breaking, which is another reason why fans love it.
